I’m sure the wider world has by now experienced Skyrim, which means most people should be familiar with the term “open world games.” True, there were other open world games before Skyrim, for example Red Dead Redemption, which is very, very good, and Grand Theft Auto, which is very, very bad (strange how Rockstar manages to occupy both ends of the spectrum), but Skyrim really brought home the open world style, and of course – the most important thing – they did it well. But which are better: open world or linear games? This is the big one. Can I get through this article without mentioning that certain game by BioWare? I hope so, otherwise I may have to consult a psychiatrist about my deeply ingrained addiction, considering I’m actually playing it while writing. My favourite game ever

You know, I think the time has come for me to reveal my favourite game ever. Now, some of those who know me would say it would be Mass Effect or its sequel, because of the amount I have raved over all of the titles in that series. Perhaps you’d think it might be Dragon Age 2, which admittedly is an awesome title, but sadly ends at a low note. Or Fallout 3 / New Vegas, which are both pretty damn good games and offer such variation that you can play for hours and hours and still have stuff left to do. But you’d be wrong again. I apologise for the late update, oh lords! As I was finishing this comic, I recieved a cheerful update from my teacher telling me I had to go over all of my English Language coursework again and correct loads of errors. I proceeded to panic and stress, and forgot about this. Won’t happen again, I swear. more
